I am a Queer-identified parent and have specific expertise in working with people of transgender experience, as well as lesbian, gay, and bisexual individuals. I am a seasoned clinician and administrator, and I am happiest when I can utilize both aspects of my training.  My background is in LGBTQ community mental health, where I have served as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and Outpatient Clinic Director.

Clinical Supervision & Consultation

I have over ten years of experience providing clinical & programmatic supervision to:


  • LCSW, LMSW, & LMHC clinicians

  • Case Managers, Harm Reduction Counselors,  HIV Counselors & Testers and other Social  Service Support Staff

  • Directors of Mental Health, Community Health, and Case Management programs

​​I provide weekly, bi-weekly, group or issue specific, time-limited supervision.


I also offer programmatic support to non-profits and can assist with program startup and quality improvement projects. Recent topics for which I offered program support include:

  • New York State, Outpatient Mental Health (Article 31) Regulatory Compliance

My clinical style is pragmatic, active and flexible.  I take your concerns and treatment seriously, but not myself too seriously. I welcome laughter and questions in session. Having worked in LGBTQ community mental health for over 15 years, I am well versed in the stressors and problems that come with living outside of hetero/gender norms.


I am an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, an evidenced-based treatment for trauma) trained therapist and find this technique extremely helpful to clients experiencing symptoms of trauma & anxiety.  I also incorporate the following approaches in my work:


  • Psycho-dynamic

  • Cognitive Behavioral 

  • Harm Reduction


As a Queer-identified parent, I am happy to support clients around a variety of topics including coming out, transition and parenthood.
